With a huge growth in membership and successful events, 100 Women Who Care Kelowna had a massive 2024 and is looking to continue that momentum into 2025.

Last year, the organization welcomed 175 new members and raised and donated $40,507 to local organizations, including an extra $4,000 donation at the Okanagan Humane Society at Christmas time.

“As we reflect on 2024, we are deeply grateful for the dedication and generosity of our members,” said Megan Lepp, 100 Women Who Care Kelowna. “Our collective impact continues to grow, and we are excited to build on this momentum in 2025.”

Additionally, at its first meeting of 2025, it donated $8,830 to Central Okanagan Search and Rescue. The funds will help support the training of nine new women for the ground search and rescue team.

"This is the highest number of female recruits we have ever accepted, and they join so many more amazing women in SAR," said COSAR community relations director Adriane Peak.
